1. Institutional Identity & Philosophy

Founded and managed by an elite team of IITians and NITians, the college provides specialized guidance for premier institutes like IIT, NIT, AIIMS, and AFMC.

No! It is Dharwad based institute. There are few members graduate from NITK Surathkal, because of which there may be words that it is from mangalore. Elite team of IITians and NITians came together and started in Dharwad.

Yes. We are transitioning to a state-of-the-art facility on Belagavi Road (near Narendra Toll Plaza) designed for increased capacity and modern educational standards.
2. Academics & Mentorship

We offer PCMB (Medical Focus), PCMCs (Computer Science), and PCMS (Statistics) combinations.

English is compulsory. Students must choose one additional language from Kannada, Hindi, or Sanskrit.

Progress is monitored through weekly OMR-based competitive exams and tri-monthly descriptive tests for Board readiness.

Each student is assigned a dedicated mentor for academic support and personal counseling, ensuring their mental and educational well-being.

Sports and co-curricular activities are intentionally limited to prioritize discipline and preparation for National Level exams. But for students who are good in such activities are encouraged and supported.

We formulate a structured syllabus plan at the beginning of the academic year, which is tracked regularly by our Academic Department. Generally, the 2nd PU syllabus is completed by November and the 1st PU syllabus by January, ensuring sufficient time for revisions and mock test series.
3. Admissions & Scholarships

Admissions are granted via the Arjuna Entrance Test (AET). Early registration is advised as intake is kept limited.

Registrations open in October/November. The Arjuna Entrance Test (AET) is conducted across November and December, with December 25 being our fixed annual examination date.

Yes. Admissions after 11th are accepted through the COC (Change of College) process. We conduct an entrance screening test after students complete their 1st PU annual examinations, in the months of February and March (not during the December AET window). Admission is subject to seat availability.

For Class 10th students (1st PU AET), the exam is MCQ-based covering 10th Maths, Science, and Mental Ability. For Class 11th students (2nd PU COC), it is a descriptive-based examination with competitive questions in 11th Physics, Chemistry, Maths, and Biology to evaluate conceptual depth and step-by-step problem-solving.

Arjuna Science PU College is affiliated with the Karnataka State Pre-University Board and follows the Karnataka State PU curriculum (NCERT-aligned). It is NOT CBSE. Integrated coaching for JEE, NEET, and KCET is provided concurrently.

Yes. Arjuna provides integrated coaching where the KCET portions are thoroughly completed first, and students then advance to higher-level JEE problem-solving. As a result, KCET preparation is comprehensively covered by default.

Yes. We provide concessions up to Rs. 50,000 based on the Entrance Test and 5%-30% concessions based on 10th Board marks.

No. We maintain a professional standard without a 'Free Seats' concept, though substantial merit-based support is offered.

To maintain privacy and clarity, fees are discussed exclusively one-to-one at the college office or via telephone.
4. Hostel & Daily Routine

The day begins at 5:30 am, self study till 8.00 pm, breakfast from 8.30 am to 9.00 am followed by college (9:00 am - 5:30 pm), supervised study (6:15 pm - 8:15 pm), and dinner, concluding with night study until 11:00 pm.

Compulsory supervised study hours are conducted from 6:15 pm to 8:15 pm. Subject experts are physically available to resolve doubts immediately.

We maintain an in-house hygienic mess with nutritious vegetarian food and RO water purification. Freshness is guaranteed by batch-wise serving.

Yes. We welcome parents to conduct random quality checks or taste the food served to ensure total transparency.

To ensure cognitive recovery, a strict 11:00 pm lights-out policy is enforced. Adequate sleep is vital for academic focus.
5. Safety & Welfare

Subject faculty are available on a 24/7 support cycle with evening rotations specifically for doubt solving.

Long holidays are discouraged to maintain academic momentum. Scheduled breaks are provided during Aug/Sept, Dasara, and between sessions.

Basic medical aid is available at the hostel. In emergencies, wardens provide transport to the nearest hospital in Dharwad and notify parents immediately.

Yes. The campus and hostels are monitored by 24/7 CCTV surveillance and managed by resident wardens.

Dedicated hot water facilities are provided in both the college and hostels for bathing and drinking hygiene.
